Deliveries Box

With some of the leftover lumber from the pergola, I made a box for Amazon/UPS/FedEx deliveries.

Deliveries Box

Like most people these days, we order a lot of stuff online. Amazon, in particular, is pretty bad about consolidating things into single packages, so it's pretty common for us to find a pile of small packages on the stoop. It's also pretty common to find those packages have blown into the bushes or even down the street, never to be seen again.

Since I had a couple of extra 2"x8"x12' boards from the pergola, I decided to make a wooden box with DELIVERIES written in big black letters on it. It's not the prettiest thing you'll ever see, but it's not terrible. If I were buying wood specifically for this project, pressure-treated 2"x8"s probably wouldn't be my first choice, but it's what was available. Maybe I'll paint it. And Crystal offered to make some nicer letters using vinyl decals.
